Richard E. Grissom (Rick) - As President of GM Productions and Aerial Entertainment Resources, air show production, consulting sound and air operation companies, Rick has produced and promoted over 80 major air shows in North America during the past 35 years, he has also provided sound and airboss operations support to over 200 additional shows in the past 14 years.

Rick developed the first on site sponsorship program in the air show industry.He has consulted with air show venues on increasing profitability,entertainment and innovation, as well as operations and management. AER also operates state of the art mobile control towers and sound systems at over 20 shows annually.

In addition to Air Shows, Rick has produced many other events. He produced a major outdoor event for 10,000 news media representatives as part of Walt Disney World's 15th Anniversary Celebration. He co-produced the Florida State Lottery Kickoff as well as concerts and shows featuring such artists as Mel Tillis,Reba McEntire,Dottie West ,Jerry Reed,Rodney Crowell,John Conlee and Sammy Kershaw.

He holds a Commercial Pilot's Certificate with Instrument Rating in single and multi engine aircraft.He served as an aviation consultant to Walt Disney World for their 20th Anniversary and to the Molson Indy CART race in Toronto. He also designed, built and operated a one of a kind special event vehicle for Molson Breweries at air shows, CART races and downhill ski events from 1987 to 1990. During this period he also built and leased band buses to the music industry.

Rick has served as Chairman of the International Council of Air Shows(ICAS) Foundation, a non profit corporation dedicated to the preservation of the air show legacy. He served for four years as President of ICAS, the foremost membership organization for air show performers,producers,promoters and sponsors, and served for many years on it's Board of Directors. In 1991, he was the recipient of the prestigious ICAS Sword of Excellence Award.He is also an Honorary member of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and has served on numerous ICAS committees during his 30 years of membership. including the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Defense committee.
